Ketorolac Tromethamine
Potent NSAID Analgesic
A potent NSAID with analgesic efficacy comparable to some opioids, but without addictive potential. It is used for the short-term management of moderately severe acute pain, typically post-operatively. Ketorolac strongly inhibits COX enzymes. Due to the high risk of severe GI and renal side effects, treatment duration is usually limited to five days or less.
